Production Assist is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, browsers, iPhone, iPad, Android, and Meta Quest.

Installation#

Production Assist is provided as an AppImage on Linux. See Download and installation for the Linux AppImage installation steps. The app is tested on the current Ubuntu LTS release and on Manjaro.

Recommendations for large projects#

Production Assist uses multiple processor cores to speed up calculations. We recommend 32 GB of memory for larger projects. For very large projects, such as entire exhibition halls, we recommend 64 GB of memory.

Browser#

Production Assist requires a browser with WebAssembly support. All current browsers provide this support. We recommend the latest version of Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.

VR headsets#

For VR, you need a headset with a browser that supports WebAssembly and WebXR.

Supported headsets#

We recommend Meta Quest devices, such as the Meta Quest 2.

Unsupported devices#

Pico VR headsets are currently not supported because no compatible browser is available on them.

Vectorworks plug-in#

System requirements#

For the Vectorworks plug-in, your computer must meet both the Production Assist requirements and the Vectorworks requirements.

BricsCAD plug-in#

Production Assist supports the BricsCAD plug-in for BricsCAD versions 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.

AutoCAD plug-in#

Production Assist supports the AutoCAD plug-in for AutoCAD 2024, AutoCAD 2025, and AutoCAD 2026.

Capture integration#

Production Assist supports the Capture integration for Capture 2026.
